Suddenly
Like broken silk stretched across a scrying sky
so lives my heart in hope of renewal, oh my soul !
After the burning kiss of passion I am consumed
like the aching arms that have dug into the grave
in the hope of exhuming a memory of your love
Juniper berries still remind me of our late summer
when we thrived without this grieving thrummer
I assume you are living amongst the silver stars
watching over me, with your heart open wide ;
Like broken silk stretched across a telltale sky,
you left earth so quick I didn't find time to cry .
Love, Pixie
