Good point, Harry! Rain is emotional. I walked a mile in Chicago barefoot one summer. It was the ver nicest walk, I ever had. The rain was like a warm shower. It was a once in a lifetime. Like walking beneath a fountain of youth, also. I was 32 years old then. LOL...wish I were now!! Panagiota xx

A Flash Flood along with a lightning storm swept in from Mexico! Pangie it lasted here for only in the morning. A woman walking her dogs was hit by the lightening, very sad.

Oh, Anaya! So sorry to know this. Life ends for all of us. I am glad to have had a long life. I lost friends via diseases, suicides and murder. Lightning and floods scare me. But living in California, we have been in a drought for years. Meaning heavy fires in southern and northern CA. Be safe, Anaya. Panagiota xxx with hugs ~)))

Same here, Joe. I mean a lack of rain! It won’t rain here till September. I have videos of heavy rains. That’s all. Glad you and Ila are enjoying yourself. Hugs, Panagiota xx

Interesting how the robin preceded the rain. The bird (brain) knows. lol... In related 'news,' whenever I start up my backyard lawn sprinkler, a robin flies off our fence and 'takes his daily shower.' (I think he looks for worms 'for dessert'). Smiles, Gershon

Gershon, you want to see dry? Come to California. We are in year Three, of a drought! Even birds are a rarity. The water police drive around fining you, if you water on off times. I think your share about the robin and you in charming. Worms for desert! Very humorous...hugs, Panagiota xx

Paula, with me a party does not end. Being from the Midwest, the weather can change in a snap. We just go inside and carry on. I miss that Midwest attitude. I come from a party family. Musical instruments, parties, celebrations, carnivals on warm summer nights. Endless jokes.I was born way before many poets here were even in existence...the world has changed. We need more in person contacts and less life on line. Locking down children was the saddest thing I ever saw. Such nonsense. Kids under 15 killed themselves! How sad, Paula! That nonsense will be pulled again? Indeed, it will. And we adults need one another, to see another’s eyes. To hear their laughter, no LOL. It’s party time! Hugs, Panagiota xx

Hi Kim... I have experienced this rain on a picnic more than once. It is still fun. The picnic just moves indoors. I love, love your attitude toward life! Hugs, Panagiota xx
