Stupid Mortal
Why can't I forget you?
I loved you and you betrayed me
I revealed my secret to you
I thought you loved me
That you could see my beauty
But all you saw was the beast
You didn't see that I'm not a beast
I've never harmed anyone
I've never been ashamed of what I am
But you made me ashamed
I loved who I was before we met
I was happy being true to myself
I never denied who I was
Before you came along I trusted my decisions
