'Stupid' is Not a Nice Word

Yes, I know that's not a very nice word But after the things I've read and heard My choice seems to be somewhat legit And yet, I probably shouldn't have used it But when people behave like a dodo bird "Stupid" is a nicer word than using dim wit

But he sure is hip, ain't he/Like what's happening/He's too much/Ride, Daddy, ride... Sorry. Couldn't resist. One of my favorite funny songs. And I think "stupid" is sometimes too mild. It frequently needs to be "fucking stupid." That sums up today's world nicely. Love the picture with the poem.

Stupid is not a nice word in certain contexts as is idiot not a nice word….put together… Not nice at all! ...Debx

That's exactly the point, Deb. People who act like dim wits don't always make the best choices. We all do stupid things at one time, or heck... often. Not to be confused with being ignorant.

Ahh Lin, I refer to myself as stupid alot & it isn't a nice word. When looked at fully it's complicated. Lots of things can result in 'stupid' behaviour (often by people who refuse to think of any possibility they are being stupid being a factor) - perhaps an undercurrent of fear, abuse of power etc. when we say "are you stupid?" We are perhaps saying really, "take a look at what just happened & reflect on your logic & intent". Note: anyone 'educating' by calling an audience stupid is stupid :)

Yep, the fact they are in another post insisting they know more than a person with real life tangible knowledge and experience is further evidence of a 'me man, man always right, man good, man not questioned' mentality. It would be hilarious if it didn't threaten the mental and physical safety of innocent people.

You forgot to mention that using words with more than four letters seems to be their way of expressing what they think is superiority... kinda like the ape pounding his chest in my recent post.

The only sympathy I have is that they probably do believe their wildly collated misrepresented inaccuracies and think they are doing women a favour by insulting and talking down to them. To be that afraid of transgender clinical terms and use it as a weapon to beat women who are perfectly fine with clinical terminology appropriate for transgender people and used only for transgender people is pretty scary stuff. I'd say luckily no such person would ever be in charge of making the rules, but that's the sorry state of the world right now.

lol Dilly. That was a very educated way of saying, "If you think you know better than anyone else, your wrong." Those who assume they are educating others with their diatribes should get the facts correct before "spewing their scat.," as Mo 'not so eloquently but justifiably stated. "Stupid is as stupid does," said Forest Gump. Stupid was as stupid did, says a grump.
