Stuff In Your Mouth

The stream of office quiet was suddenly sliced
When a co-worker violently kicked out of his chair
And angrily emitted, “For the love of *@#*% Christ.”
He carried on with clearly more rage to share,
“What the *@#*% gives you the *@#*% right
To *@#*% my *@#*% life and *@#*% bare,
Your *@#*% can *@#*% out of the *@#*% sand.”
I began to fear he’d seriously pop an important gland
So when his vulgarity stammered down to a pause,
I jumped in with confusion to slow down his cause,
“Woo wee, you have got stuff in your mouth
That I would not even hold in my hand.”

Your idiom immesdiately resonates with ( Ingrid Bergmans? ) line " is that a gun in your pocket or are you just happy to see me" Andrea is also so funny here

I found your work well written and on point with a message. The idiom is creative and fit the theme of the poem very well. The contest was highly competitive which left out about 10 poems which were worthy of placement – including this one. Thanks for entering the contest and I will check out some more of your creative work!

Great stuff CayCay! Your idiom title grabs you right off and begs to be read. GL in the contest with this clever piece. 7 : ) P.S. One time on a popular t.v. show some one said "keep my name out of your mouth." I had the same reaction.

CayCay, that is a GOOD one. ONe thing though, I would not want to hold in my hand ANYthing anyone else had in their mouth either. hahaha. GREAT rhyme this is. you did what he asked and made your OWN idiom. Mine is more like a lame caricature of an idiom.

I am so much impressed by this expression dear CayCay. I think it fits perfectly the situation. So next time I hear someone saying: " You #%$!@#**& and your #*^# that#&!" I will use it! haha! A seven!
