Strong Is the Man Who Lasts
A Strong man has a heart that beats three times as fast, with half the effort
He wilds his way through all the weeds
And has hearses trying to drag his will this way and that
Tied to a crown, he unlaces it
And speaks in inimitable unmysteries
He will go, when he will go, and he will stay, when he will stay
His optimism is indefatigable
And his will… is his own
God alone could sink him he says, (and I think he knows this)
But God sank the Titanic, you know!
A Strong Man With Heart
Is
Altogether, better!
