Strolling, Not Stalking, Greeneville Ct

When guys get so old
pubic hairs
are as long as penises

It's not time to grow
a longer and fatter, more drivable,
penal delivery system
promising retributive rape
of an entire planet.

It is time to trim back
over-Yanged investment hedges
blocking more pedestrian-friendly
RightBrain purposes;
traffic in WinWin walking nurture
more than WinLose driving torture.

I was thinking about Greeneville's Neighborhood Revitalization
ZeroZone planning and design,
implementation progress,
or robust lack thereof,
from a drive-through as quickly as possible non-place
mutually disinvested drivable
back toward a more historically walkable space
and time.

I wonder if apparent lack of progress
may have less to do with funding,
and more to do with lack of cooperative implementation
imaginations walking together
back in multigenerational sharing time.

I don't know much about Greeneville
built up along Shetucket River
historical transportation system,
and nutritional fishing site,
and PositivEnergy mill ecopolitical empowerment,

But I do recall
Greeneville's primary drivable contributions
in the 1880's UnCivil Culture Democracy War
were guns and cannons
and all things horse-powered ballistic.

This Greeneville Resilient Restoration Zone
might recall
prior to 1900s,
premillennial Green included walkable
and boatable transport
and not motorized drive-through shooting lanes--
not yet.

And GreenVillages
were ecoschool built around North Main Street gardening squares
where goats and landscaping sheep grazed,
and certainly no Norwich Maintenance Motorized Crew
hauled away refuse
whether for repurposing
or endstream undignified burn and burial,
unholy ashes to ashes.

But gardening farmers perhaps closed that nutritional loop,
further investing
in walkably accessible repurposing.

Street performers,
Christmas carolers,
GoodFriday and Easter pageants,
evangelists and milk carton prophets
may yet again advocate
for healthier outdoor EcoSchools
matriotically remixing
rapturous WinWin
wealthy-health salvations.

Occasionally a horseback rider
might again ride through
delivering a new tethered team of mules
from Shetucket River ferry dancers
investing in a local pedestrian every-multigenerational family
farmer's day
and sleep restoring night.

On Sundays
six or less historical Greeneville churches
might have become surrounded by horses
with carriages behind
and domestic-saddled horsepowers
waiting under sugar maple trees
for a return to Sabbath dinner,
and then perhaps a walk
along a bricked pedestrian lane
looking out across Shetucket River.

Some weekends might feature
town square performers,
outdoor schools for guiding imagination
remembering fire circle story-tellers
surrounded by listening original forests
on Shetucket River banks

And all that postmillennial wildmind
First Nation Greeneville drama
and domesticity
on matriarchal foot,
and paddling fast-lane patriarchal canoes.

When guys get so old
public memory hairs
are as long as their walk-as-punishment imaginations

It's time to trim back
overYanged investments
blocking more pedestrian-friendly meanings,
traffic in nurture more matriarchal WinWin
than Either/Or LeftBrain Drivability,
dispiriting WinLose.
