Stranger Thy Father

I fear our next encounter;
haunted by your sight.

Your presence penetrates my heart like a knife.

Your not a man but an intruder,
forcing your way, judge and juror.

Hand down your penalty, much we must take.
Abrasions, contusions, are your biggest mistake.

Hugs and kisses, only come from jerks,
"I LOVE YOU - I'M SORRY",
your BANDAIDS don't work.

Brute force.
Torn at the seams.

Dare to move.
Dare to scream.

Noise not permitted,
take it, be silent.
Withhold your tears in his judgement.

Is there a thin line between DISLIKE and HATE?
Can you define where one begins and the other one waits?

Lousy parents are a Hugh part of the fabric of life. I had Shitty parents molestation, abuse and neglect. We write about what our souls needed. Nice work!

Wow, that was deep and vivid. It is a shame that such scenarios have to exist but they do. I believe the line between dislike and hate thins out even more in situations like this. Really nicely expressed.

Seeing that line, standing alone, makes me want to cry. But I like it too.

First of all, welcome to the soup. Such a powerful piece this one! The final couplet packs its punch on a very moving and emotive poem. I await more of thy wonders of words to come eagerly.

Well Sir, I hope to both send you on a journey and disappoint you along the way; as is human nature. But in the interim, enjoy the ride. Hugs buddy
