Stranger Saw His Manager

Stranger Saw His Manager Even if a friend or maybe some stranger, Would worship Jesus whole in a manager; We must heed; Made to lead, And in future He did find much danger. Jim Horn This week’s lesson is “Taming the Tongue”, James 3:1-12 Additional verses to read this week are:  ·       Warning to teachers: Ezekiel 33:7-9; Acts 20:26-27; Ephesians 4:11-12; Hebrews 13:17 ·       The root of evil speech: Isaiah 6:5; Matt 15:11, 16-19; Mark 7:20-23 ·       Evils caused by the tongue: Psalm 5:9; 34:13; 52:4; Proverbs 6:16-17; 26:28 ·       Consequences of our words: Matthew 12:33-37 ·       Our part and God’s part in “Taming the Tongue”: Psalm 141:3; Proverbs 21:23; Romans 6:12-14; Galatians 5:16-26 As you read, make some notes related to these questions: ·       What does this scripture tell us about Christ? ·       What does it say about the nature of man? ·       What can I do to be more like Christ? ·       How does it help prepare me to do the will of God (Share the Gospel)?
