Strange Lovers

War tells peace to avoid war Peace woos war to for marriage At the altar they exchange rings And the choir sings hymns of love War is peace, peace is war What offspring is coming? Is it peace, war, or peaceful war? Remove pillows, sit up all night. Prepare drums, deaf humans store your tears for the hard times When peace rages, war falls in love Ashes, debris, smoke, reigns supreme When war is about to strike, it giggles As peace, the spouse hides in trenches
