Stranded
A single strand
across the trail
a distance vast
considering
the size of she
who spun so fine
a way from here to there.
The sun reflects
upon a segment small
but when I move
my head from left to right,
the path made ever clear.
How does a creature
oh so small
traverse so great a span
and why, oh why
do I allow
the smallest things
to leave me
stranded
unable to achieve
what I set forth to do?
