I watch spumy waves cresting the shore when I go for an amble near the sea, on stormy days big waves thunder and roar but the tempestuous sea I just love to see - knowing soon there’ll be calm and tranquility. Lindsay is so right, the sea is therapeutic whether watching it, in a boat on it, or swimming in it (which I haven't done for years) is for me one of the ultimate pleasures in life. Well penned Jan and best of luck in the contest. Blessings, Jennifer.

I have always wondered how women can sit for hours watching the waves roll in! It seems a bit fishy to me (although men tend to just jump in to see what happens). Good luck in the contest! Aloha! Rico

Nice poem!! I am 64 years old by the way - been quite ill in my life but I feel pretty good today. I don't drink or smoke pot - although I used to. My only drug is green tea and once in a while a little wine at Sabbath services. How is life in your "neck of the woods"? I went to the coffee shop today - I go there everyday - drink green tea. Doctors disagree about it - some swear by it!! I have entered a love poetry contest!! Peace & Love Matthew Anish

great to hear you are feeling good matthew, long may it continue and there seem to be many who extol the benefits of green tea for mopping up free radicals, anything is worth a try!:-) hugs Jan xx

Ohhh Jan this is so full of fabulous imagery that I can almost hear the sea crashing upon the shore - wonderful and I particularly love spumy! I am sure Constance will love this, I certainly do. Of course being a piscean I adore the sea and get withdrawal symptoms if I am away from it for too long. With kindest thoughts Ann xx

Thanks Ann:-) I love observing the sea not being on it - our shelves in the shop are denuded of provisions so i assume the boat didn't sail and bring us bread - son is eating us out of house and home lol! :-) hugs Jan xx
