Stoned--Not For the Squeamish!

The pain is like child birth, it hits sudden and hard Don't try to endure go and get some help Fluids help to flush the little prickly pear stone, down the internal pipes. But it is not a quick and easy flush. Think skinning your urethras open to urine's burn. Time heals all wounds, lots of time... Dedicated to all those who have suffered from kidney stones.

Heard about them and this sounds right on. Ouch, good depiction. Suspect from experience. Hope better now.

Oh dear, so well written, Doris! My best friend suffered from kidney stones. I must be terribly painful. Thank you for your comment on "Blundering Stones". I didn't go to a restaurant but I also enjoy Italian food and prepare often Italian melas for myself. We can buy 'Panini Rustici" here I do love these crunchy bread rolls..They taste really like the original Italian ones. I don't like the soft Hamburger rolls...I also have my own recipe for burgers...Have a nice Sunday...Gert

Yes thanks. I have had them twice. But it has been many years since. I don't desire to have them again. Agape, Moses

That must really have hurt the one who went thru the stones. I've seen my dad in so much pain over it, exactly the way you explain here. Enjoyed the poem, have a nice one,..p.d.
