Stingless Bees

I think that I shall never see

A quiltin' bee or spellin' bee

          A-skitterin' to and fro

But 'tis better yet to know

This species won't be stingin' me

Ha-Ha! Well aren't you just the "bees' Knees" Robert? Something my grandfather used to say. Our whole family is allergic to bees, but grandpa always won spelling bees and grandma was into quilts. I love this poem and the lighthearted wayyou made me feel about something I dread. Thanks Robert! Best to you, Diane

I've seen my share of spelling bees, but when I see the stinging bees, I run! This is very funny, Bob. Enjoyed very much! Love, Carolyn

Hey, I've come up with some bizzare but cool stuff when I'm suffering insomina too. Night owls are most creative then too.

A well-crafted hybrid! The spelling anomaly works very well.
