~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Autumn’s calm gentles dancing leaves
Humble hearts sigh through fragile tears
Streams slumber, trembling in silence
As night whispers through misty smiles
Old songs play on the soul’s guitar
Autumn’s calm gentles dancing leaves
Countless hopes abide in life’s dreams
Lovely blessings flow through dewdrops
Once lilacs left their soft perfume
To cajole wonders, blithe and new
Autumn’s calm gentles dancing leaves
Etching grace through majestic trees
Frail maples, tender oaks and birch
Weary those who don’t hear their words
Ever luring the soul to breath
Autumn’s calm gentles dancing leaves
