Still There
Spotting you while out shopping,
As I moved on I stared at you,
List in my hand thinking of you,
Walking away still lots to do,
Moving through the aisles of diet food,
I knew what I wanted to do.
With you on my mind,
I hurried away,
My basket full I went to pay,
Standing in the queue I saw you again,
The cashier saw me .... staring at you,
She smiled and said "go on".
I reached out but caught myself,
Packing my shopping your still there,
I moved toward you,
I picked you up my ..... chocolate bar.
