Stealing and Killing Time

Patrick Deneen follows Tocqueville
speaking of risks to Western liberal democratic experiments,
great personal enlightenment adventures
seldom calm within a federating kettle
of competing selected fish,
and usually not cooperatively resilient
for health optimization
of local community peaceful resonant wealth.

In Tocqueville's time and place,
liberal democracy evolved from feudal win/lose pre-industrial aristocracy
overpowering non-elite serfs, and lesser natural organic beings,
royal kleptocrats,
universal white privileged patriarchs
by right of land and title inheritance
supported by Divine Might Makes Right
evolutionary theologies.

As Deneen liberally repeats,
capital-invested democratic consumer legitimacy
to cooperatively contract individually manifest
humane superior spiritualized dignity
is rooted in monocultural presentism,
fragmenting mono-generational cultural contracts
with multi-regenerational fields
and nutritional species
mellow meadows
robust mountains
and calm river valleys.

Where Divine covenants
signed, sealed, and delivered
to predator Aristocrats
were rooted in creeds
dogma
Divinely inspired scriptures,
psalms
sonnets
holy creation stories
sacred pre-historic memories,
usually of patriarchal governors
and their court-appointed entertainers,
fire-circle dancers
loyal soldiers
and oral legend-tellers,
poets,
singers,
lyricists,
fools,
seers,
prophets,
WiseElders.

Presentism fragments intergenerational liturgical-nutritional commitments,
argues Tocqueville,
repeats Deneen.

Yet liberal love integrates compassion
for all Earth's regenerative/degenerative species
verbally historic and non-verbally pre-historic
patriarchal and matriarchal
deduced and induced
Divine EarthMother co-passion
multiculturally articulate co-enlightenment covenants
through cooperative win/win listening Time

Sacredly interdependent
natural/spiritual
traditionally nondual resilience
of Taoistic co-relational covenants

Indigenously spiraling
Yang/Yin
out/in
precessive/recessive iconic
dialogical EarthTime's win/win sanctuary, ergodic.

Patrick Deneen follows Tocqueville
speaking of risks
and appositionally implied opportunities
for Western/Eastern liberal democratic experiments,
great personal North/South enlightenment adventures
seldom calm within a federating creolizing kettle
of competing win/lose
yet cooperatively win/win selected fish
swimming through climate surfing risks.
