You’re not there now but a constant you have been. Dinosaurs saw you, you witnessed the birth of humanity. You saw the prophet in infancy. If you could speak imagine what stories you could tell me. Stars out there up in the sky. You know our history, the truths, the lies. Were the pyramids built or did they one day appear, like magically? Were civilisations here long before humanity? Stars out there up in the sky. Life on earth exists to you like in the blink of an eye. But you’ll be there even though you ain’t! When Humanity has gone and no life remains. You’ll witness us destroy our planet, oh you’ll see. Whatever gamble or bet led to humanity. The loss will be greater down here you see.
