Stare of Temptation

Stares at a distance
Eyes cross paths
One look at you
One look at me
The stare is filled with wonder
But I still love the tan on my knuckle
You still wearing the smile he gave you
Promise I cannot break
And you still stand besides your half
It is human to err
But I am for her as you are for him
'Cause as I blink,
I'm still fighting this temptation

Perhaps a bit of spring is in the air, is this happening in a classroom? I'm still working on the "tan on your knuckle" unless a nun had rapped you with a ruler. I enjoyed it.
