Stand With Me

Won’t you stand with me for a little while?
I will walk a thousand miles to see you smile
Stand with me…
Stand with me, dear,
Stand with me if you want to
Stand with me,
Darling, stand with me and be you
Stand with me…

I thought all faith was lost and everything
Until I noticed I was found
Stand with me…
Our priceless love doesn’t cost anything
I am no longer gravity-bound

Stand with me…
Stand tall through it all
Stand with me…
Stray with me and free-fall
Stand with me…
Get on the ball and walk hope’s hall
Stand with me…
Don’t hit your fists against the wall

Be of good courage, my love
Treasure happiness from above
Stand with me…
We are spiraling and descending into nothingness
We are colliding and swirling into hopelessness
Stand with me…
But, don’t give up now
You got to win somehow
Stand with me…
Sometimes, we lose
But, that is all old news
Stand with me…

Be brave and take a bow
We are living in the now
We are rulers of our tranquil town
Mind-blown because we replaced our smiles with a negative frown

Don't give up
Just move forward
Stand with me...
Stand with me.....

I don't want to be on my own
I feel in distress when I'm alone
I'm by myself, wondering if you'll stand with me
Stay with me, stand by me, lean on me passionately
