Stand

In the midst of the storm
I stand
Waiting for my way out
Looking around to see darkness
Within my surroundings
Clouds stretching
From the ends of the earth
Drowning me with my own tears
Winds blowing at a high speed
Creating an unstable balance
How will I make it through?
I call on the only creator
Who formed man
From the dust of the earth
Who gives life in just one breath
And who can cause the waters
To flood at His command
In the midst of the storm
I stand
