Stairway to Heaven
Heaven holds a place for all of us
but you can't get there on a bus
you can't fly there on a plane
you can't ride there on a train
No earthly vessel can we take
no spaceship, raft or boat we make.
You must set your demons free
if in this place you want to be
This story comes from days of old
time and again it is retold
Repent your sins, change your ways
let light and goodness fill your days.
The truth is revealed once we die
that death, it is our only ride
Up the stairs to Heaven above
to forever bask in His great love.
