So many ponds and wetlands are just stagnant water now. We have dozens of Ibis birds vacating the "wetlands" now living in suburban trees where they have more likelihood of getting water. Its sad to see these magnificent birds perched on rooftops of houses . Your poem is so painfully true Avaya. Well said.

This is happened in Australia, sad to think about thanks for sharing it, they need to know. I didn't see any Monarchs this year. We got lucky this summer, no fires, Gavin Newsome is doing a good job with our forests and national parks. Thanks for the visit S.V.

Yep take your pick Anaya, it’s either one extreme or the other, we’ve had several full days of rain here in the last two weeks alone and more on the way, whilst the rest of Europe burns, great haiku about a haiku, all the best in contest, cheers David
