St Patrick Day

St. Patrick’s Day Just a few yards ahead of my terrace, Gift of Nature is my treasure, so precious, A pair of gregarious trees Shorea Robasta stand, Closely attached, as if branches hang hand in hand. The trees start to shed dry leaves since last week of February. In first week of March both show skeleton in haste and hurry. Astonishingly every year on seventeenth March. Tender nascent leaf buds peep out in each perch. Perfect is the timing to greet and honor St. Patrick’s Day. Pair of trees get covered with gorgeous veil in green spray. They spread shiny glossy bushy big green canopy hood Flora of Green Earth celebrates green vigor in happy mood. Plants decorate themselves with leaves in various shades of green. Let your evergreen Heart be keen to enjoy love of your Valentine. 03/20/16 Third Place 'March Poems, Old or New' Contest by Carolyn Devonshire
