A beautiful description of the city, Syd. When I first saw the title, I thought you might be writing about St. Petersburg, FL, but this was a pleasant surprise. Maybe one day I'll have a chance to visit the place you describe. Love, Carolyn

A great description in so few words if you are referring to the city in Russia and not the city in Florida.
