Delice, Yes, they are agile but seem a little nervous, but I guess it is just fast reflexes that goes along with their abilities to do those acrobatics. Thanks for the visit. Sara

They are clever as well as acrobatic. We bought a squirrel-proof bird feeder that proved not to be! It had a ledge for the birds that would close the feeder if anything too heavy was on it…so they hung upside down and ate their fill. Nice haiku and picture! :) -ps

P.S., It is amazing the things they can do. If they are around where they can get their fill they will fatten up and their fur will look sleek and shiny. I really don't want them in my yard because they will chew on things like the covering on electrical lines. Once I had a tablecloth on a picnic table outside and they ate that tablecloth all too pieces. I guess they were getting any greasy spots that was on it. I enjoyed reading your comment. Thanks..Sara

Gershon, I don't think one of those wires would hold me, so I best stay on the ground. I don't like heights either. Thanks for the visit with your interesting review. Sara

Saw one in our garden this morning, greys seem to be the dominant species now but in some parts you'll find red ones. Tom

Tom, We have mostly grey around but there is a black squirrel also, but I have only seen the black ones maybe twice in my life. Thanks for dropping by and the information. Sara

Great, what kind of squirrels do you have in England? Are they nervous like ours. LOL..Sara

Sara, you've written an excellent haiku. The imagery in this piece is fantastic; I can see the squirrel traveling over a high-voltage wire.

Lasaad, It was interesting to watch him with those high winds as well yesterday but I don't know if he made it to his destination because he went out of sight. I wondered if that one nut would make up for the number of calories he used crossing on those electric lines. Thanks for stopping by. Sara
