'spurts of Joy'

if a rainbow was just black and white would its beauty still resonate? against a darkened sky? the bits of color bring with it so many promises forget about the shadows that surrounds your rainbow focus on the spurts that brings you joy even in your darkest moments one spurt may be just the beginning of your unending joy

I have to say I judge a poet first by his or her titles to see if they capture my wondering mind. All of your titles truly do and I am compelled to read them all if I could. I enjoy your wonderful insights to life.

Most often it's the little "spurts" that are so delightful, Wilma! Wisdom speaks. It's not about waiting for all the shadows to fade, but about capturing the colors in between! I love this! Thanks for the visit..as you can tell, I've been away for about a week! Have just been very busy, my friend..I'm doing well and hope that you are too.xx Love, Annalise

what a darling title. And I love those last two lines that sum it all up. Sorry, if I knew the sexy man, I would tell you, but since I don't know him, I can't name him. hahaha

Indeed, I loved how this flowed and the ending was excellent. Takes but one moment of joy to undo a lifetime of sorrow if one can appreciate it. Thanks for sharing Mrs. Wilma.

Hi Missy! aha! And I was wondering whether you had any new writes! This is just lovely, and I like how you describe it as "spurts of joy"-- just me, something about the word spurt that puts a smile on my face ^_^, haha! Really like how you started this, never thought of it that way and yes, love what you say here about focusing on those spurts of joy in times of darkness :) happy to see you here & thanks for dropping by! mwahugs!!
