'spurts of Joy'

if a rainbow was just black and white 
would its beauty still resonate? 
against a darkened sky?

the bits of color bring with it 
so many promises 
forget about the shadows 
that surrounds your rainbow 
focus on the spurts 
that brings you joy 
even in your darkest moments 

one spurt may be just 
the beginning of your unending joy

Most often it's the little "spurts" that are so delightful, Wilma! Wisdom speaks. It's not about waiting for all the shadows to fade, but about capturing the colors in between! I love this!
