Spring Time

All the trees are blossoming Those daffodils looking bright The sun is shining in the sky It must be spring time And all the birds are singing Sweet music to my ears In the early morning sunshine Summer must be near I’ve been waiting for this summer For the sun to show her face Goodbye winter blues Heat waves are on the way When I glance around at spring time There’s beauty everywhere I have visions of the seashores Smell that lovely fresh sea air I see lovers walking hand in hand Making holiday plans They’ll be trips to the fun fairs Lots of laughter on the sands Everything seems to blossom At this wonderful time Clear blue skies and sunshine It must be spring time © Copyright KC.Leake 16th March 2017 All Rights Reserved
