Sweet flowers beautify pots and gardens xanthic daffodils dance on a zephyr breeze watch them raise their trumpet blooms It’s as though they are announcing the dull dark days of winter are gone and stunning spring has finally arrived!

Yes indeed! I saw my first spring daffodils yesterday driving back from grocery shopping – planted in a round-about. A sight for longed for eyes! / Maurice

Right up there with the best descriptions of the season that brings new beginnings and reminds us that hope lives and is a beauty to behold.as it slowly unfolds its petals. PS Our eldest daughter is expecting identical twin boys in August. Our first grandson to our 2nd daughter is 5 and loving school. I now 5 years cancer free. hope 2024 gives you lots of reasons to Smile, Kind regards David in NZ

I have used the phrase several times since wrote a haiku called 'heavenly herald' I was thrilled as it was published in a haiku journal - I had never even heard of haiku before I joined soup back in 2014! hugs Jan xx

I like the vision of daffodils making sound through a trumpet. I loved the entire flow of this poem. Your poem gives me assurance, that yes, Spring is on its way.
