Spring Time
SPRING TIME
Departing north wind on the wings of winter
Calls the cold clouds, tells them in a whisper
Try to hide beyond the horizon somewhere
Until I come back to blow you again next year
For now the azure sky is getting crystal clear
As the spring flings arms from far coming near
Silky clouds in regal white robe would appear
Their shadow would slide on smiling flower
Buds have been building in petals with care
Sunburst meadow is drenched in their color
Where camouflaged butterflies silently flutter
As the busy bees rush to collect the nectar
While new leaves sprout in bare trees’ shelter
Fragrant south wind would smell spring in air
Bring to me wafting your scent I much endear
Take me in full moon night to the dream river
Where I’d find you make silver ripples on water
Your face shimmering in the split moon’s glitter
I’d hold unwithered past our spring time forever.
