Spring Symphony

Spring sings love songs in the wind Birds adding lyrics with delightful trills Humming accompaniments in the pines Melodies flowing sweetly over the hills An aria cues the longer stems to sway With bursting bulbs of rhapsodic color The brook is babbling with clear water A lone mourning dove singing low tenor Symphony of beauty in seasonal sound Beneath the noises we humans create So busily engaged we often fail to hear The lovely music Mother Nature makes

They seem to sing the loudest right before the storm, then they are suddenly silent. Thanks for the read and the comment, Kim. I appreciate it.

When I used to run trails in the woods, I could never understand why folks would come up on the trails, far from the city noise, and wear headphones! Nature sings the best tunes
