Spring Springs

“Spring Springs!”

Summer in Winter,
When February’s today
and today is 60.
When 60 feels like 90,
And the snow is a no go.
When the sun is a yes-yes.

Summer in Winter,
When the heart warms, 
and the soul simmers.
When sun shines warm,
and winter slumbers?
When long shirts find floors, 
and short shorts find legs.

Summer in Winter,
When Winter fades,
and Spring springs!
