Spring is in the air, maple trees ready to be clothed
Crocus are waiting to peek from the ground
To show their faces at the edge of the stone wall
The snow is melting into a patchwork of grass
Where the robin will soon be hopping on the hill
Spring is in the air, to be filled with lilac fragrance
Beneath the feeder where the humming birds hover
A new beginning will arrive, as baby birds are born
When Nature will also take us on a bright new flight
Spring is in the air, beckoning us to start fresh again
Open our eyes, let the sunlight awaken all our senses
To see the chipmunk, hear the brook, feel the warmth
To grow, to change, to bloom with our full potential
To spread happiness, like seeds in the garden of life
