Spring Ahead

When time springs ahead, that's when I fall behind.
I can't catch up with that hour; it has messed up my mind!

I'll always be late, that you can count on.
I'm just counting the days till I hear Winter's song.

No, I don't like early dark, but I want my hour back.
There are things I could have done if the day didn't lack.

There's a hole in the day, like it's missing a tooth.
I'm too old to lose an hour, if you must know the truth!
