Doris, you sound like you might, as myself, have a little country inside yourself. As you used the word shoals, not rapids as some writers do. Any way there's nothing like the smell of honysuckles on a warm summer evening. Beautiful write, vivid memories brings to my mind as a youth. God bless, Sincerely Moses
