Spot's Ark
SPOT’S ARK -NURSERY RHYME
A playful young puppy called Spot
Sailed away one day on a yacht
With two of his brothers
And quite a few others
They set off at eight on the dot.
The wind blew them over the sea
Till they came to the Isle of Capri
Where they welcomed on board
A regular hoard
Of cats and a mouse and a bee
The next day they set off again
To their next destination, Spain
A few bulls joined the crew
And some rabbits came too
Plus an owl with a very wise brain
The sailed for a year and a day
Picking animals up all the way
Long-legged giraffes
Some hyenas for laughs
And the whole ship was happy and gay
After that, according to plan
They returned to where they began
Creaking and straining
The yacht now containing
Almost every breed known to man
Now Spot and the rest of the crew
Knew just what they needed to do
When the passengers landed
They marched out mob-handed
And opened the world’s largest zoo
