Wow! I love this one, Amy. And I didn't know Moby Dick was a "sperm whale," so it was educational as well. The image of the whale battling the giant squid is amazing. Hope this thought is not in my head at bedtime or dreams of such an encounter are sure to come. The tanka form is well employed in this gripping poem. Love, Carolyn
