Speed Bumps Written: by Tom Wright 2/20/2013 Are you ever found striving, To just get over the hump; But each day of the week, Is like another speed bump; As soon as we clear one, And start to pick up steam. Another problem arises, Prompting from us a scream; It seems that patience, For us has scant place. And always a speed bump, Stares us in the face; There’s always before us, This raised yellow mound. We’re running in circles, On our merry-go-round; We make little headway, But give God our best. Hoping He makes allowances, And is allowing this test;
