Praying In the silence Longing For the kindness Of a God who listens And forever whispers Of love that completes hearts A love that brings hope and warmth A love that is alive with joy A love that sings light and shimmers With inspiration discovered On the hearts of those who know Him The Savior, the King, the Creator The One who made me and saved me And gave me… love that is without conditions Love that is kind, wise and brilliant A love that fills minds with tenderness And gives hearts a feeling of serenity Praying In the stillness Yearning For the wisdom Discovered in the prayer Abiding on a heart that cares Reflecting inspiration and praise For the One who gave us Hope, faith and love Assurance that He is alive Faithful as the sunrise Filling our hearts with joy And our lives with a cure For every worry and pain Every thought that dismays Every single way that drains He is there inside, a friend alive Keeping the heart aflame Burning with elation and love All the good things Sent from above Praying In the silence Hoping For the kiss Of spiritual enlightenment Divine insight Marvelous comprehension Revealing all that is precious Grace that guides Mercy that survives Tenderness so inspired That God comes to life On the air that delights Celestial fire Dancing through the skies Enchanting the soul With a heavenly glow Precious passion For the One who knows Our hearts and souls The way we should go How it feels to be human… Yet, God at the same time…. Jesus is alive Living on the inside Preparing my life To bring hope of paradise Where we will all be together With the King of our lives The Christian’s sovereign guide!
