Soundless Storm

Black clouds up there
yellow flashes spark
lightning crashes down quickly and silently
bringing about fear and chaos
with each strike
in multiple areas at once
demonic faces made of lightning
set forests on fire
without anyone noticing at night
as another strike of lightning
evaporates several lives in a second
turning flesh into dust
blown away into the wind
along with the essence of their existence, now forgotten
in this soundless storm
and who knows where it will go next
