Soul's Message To Her Human Heart

Light, essence white shines in beauty, eyes green,
human heart, spirit’s hull, please don’t despair,
life, your trials tinctured light-dark I’ve seen..,
you’re never alone; with you I am here.

Mortal being -- sainted soul -- hand in hand,
partnered; life’s pebbled footpaths, we do share.
Someday, we’ll traverse azure’s Promised Land..,
you’re never alone; with you I am here.

Free will; color palette pastel choices,
through hues of happiness or stains of fear,
muted disappointments, rich rejoices..,
you’re never alone; with you I am here.

Each tint a test each shade a solution,
lift song’s surrender to Him in prayer,
till final breath – Divine absolution..,
you’re never alone; with you I am here.

How I love this! Let me count the ways, maybe not, it would take so long for I love it in so many ways I have yet to absorb them all. Such beauty, such touching, poetically profound beauty that touches me from core, up to my eyes. Some poems, you read, and some poems, you feel. This I am still feeling. Wow! Poetry hugs ... CayCay

Well said Susan. I like to thank Him for each and every day. For the beauty that surrounds my life and the protection and providence He has always shown me. As you so eloquently put it. He is there with us and doesn't like to be ignored. Love this. Great job. God Bless, JB Sorry it took so long to get back to you. My eye sight is getting worse and I'm awaiting eye surgery. Going in for glaucoma surgery on the 15th and will find out then when they will do my cataracts. Right now my world a blur.

Eloquently expressed. And I love how you've anchored each stanza with the same touching refrain. Gives the whole poem an rhythmic, emotional weight. Much enjoyed :)

Thank you Bernard for your awesome comment! I'm glad you thought the refrain was anchoring each stanza instead of being tediously repetitious, that was great positive feedback for me. As always, it's such a pleasure for me to read your kind words and to have a visit from you - much appreciation my friend :) Susan
