Soulmate

In the firelight’s gentle glow, I first saw your face,
where flames caressed each feature with a warm and sacred grace.
The world grew hushed around us, time itself dissolved in air,
and in that fleeting moment, I knew you waited there.
Two souls unlike all others, ancient, rare, and true,
higher beings drawn through lifetimes to this fire’s amber hue.
From the dawn of all existence, our fates were intertwined,
always meant to merge as one, two hearts forever aligned.
We were destined for each other, woven long before our birth,
higher souls becoming one upon this spinning earth.
Hand in hand we walk together through the joy and through the pain,
side by side in deepest love, through sunshine and through rain.
Your essence wraps around mine in an unbreakable embrace,
a love that runs far deeper than the oceans’ vastest space.
Brighter than the farthest stars, more pure than morning light,
we rise as one eternal flame, two souls in perfect flight.
From that campfire evening until the heavens fade to gray,
I have loved you wholly, fiercely, in every single way.
My heart knew you before language, before the world took form,
and in your eyes I found my home, my shelter from the storm.
Together we ascend forever, passion unrestrained,
two higher souls made whole at last, in love beyond all change.
No power can divide us, no distance break our bond—
eternal, deep, and boundless, in this life and beyond.
