Soulmate
We must have met before our time,
his kiss so tender, he must be mine.
His eyes replay what must have been,
yet, I don't recall, I need to intervene.
His hands touching me delicately,
the most precious parts of my skin.
His heart beats to my rhythm,
Lord, grant me no more sin.
Declined are evil spirits
at an attempt to interfere,
I'm convinced, now I believe,
we are destined to be.
We, the answered prayers
of our ancestral wishes,
we, bonded to break
generational curses.
No power can prepare us
for what is to come,
but we will never surrender,
we won't shutdown.
Let our souls, come back home,
to reclaim their destiny, to their own.
