nostalgia hovers
in the backroads
of my mind
memories
both harsh
and beautiful
bubble up
to the tune of
integrity
break out
unfettered
in a dance of
effervescence
in both a
soft and bold
array of colors
uniquely
crafted
as a distinct
fingerprint
a soul print
on butterfly wings ~
