Life we’ve lived thus far Soul blackened like tar With fear We’ve drifted afar Yet we still do spar And leer In devil’s sidecar Tell us who we are Oh peer It’s said God is near He does not appear We’re blind Gone is our heart’s cheer It all feels so ***** A bind Love we once held dear Is now in low gear Unkind Let’s go in and find Why we’re misaligned From source Love whispers remind Gentle touch, be kind No force Fears to dust consigned Leave desires behind Of course 14-March-2023
