Soul Mate

It was that night, When I held her tight In my arms she smiled, bright. Indeed, a very beautiful sight. On that night, circling her waist, I danced holding her tight. Everything was just right. Not even a petty fight. That was a full moon night. What a beautiful moonlit night! On lifting her body, frail and light I suddenly felt a fright. Knew it was her last night, Looking at her plight. We kissed eachother all night, And before the day break, took off her flight. It's several years now, yet, On every full moon night, Her beaming face kisses me good night. It's night and the clock strikes eight, and Oh! I have a morning flight to take. On the morrow, I have a date With my only soulmate. Where? Up there, on the moon, Where Our love will be on the full bloom.
