Soul-Contrast!
I will bleed folks, I will bleed...
Blood doesn't always have to equate pain...
It could mirror the relief that courses through;
pregnant clouds after the rain...
I will smile folks, I will smile...
I genuinely upturn the corners of my cheeks,
every once in a while...
The rest of the time's a captor of my mind...
I will think folks, I will think...
My thoughts seep through my mind and play across my face...
No need for poker faces...
What I feel is what you see...
I will reach folks, I will reach...
I stretch skyward and pluck a star from the sky...
Ouch', it burns the tip of my fingertips...
It's perchance a mediocre dream:
The epitome of how things seem...
My dream is a bit higher & if stand on my tiptoes and reach,
I can grasp it...and I know it's mine,
by the way I feel on the inside...
Fire lit desire courses through my veins...
the acquiring of this nearly drives me insane,
but I rest assure...it won't be in vain...
