Sorrow

A hurt heart to your death, I must get through the pain. Just one breath, I take in vain. You are gone and never to be found. Living the restless life, Without you I've drown. Now I am at strife. I feel pain, distress. Sorrow fills the eyes, Watching you go in the ground in great dress. I don't know how to deal when someone dies. 2/24/2017

...back to re-read Alex :-) see if you have anything new. Andrea Dietrich, one of the best writers here, and nicest has a great poem called 'Three Doors'. It may give you some inspiration. She wrote it for a Doors contest. All the entries I have read are really good, you will like them. The contest is sponsored by Richard Lamoureux who is a fantastic writer and person, very encouraging. When you read and comment, they are very supportive. Both have great writers block poems too. happy writing :-)

There is a lot of emotion in your poem, I could feel that gulping sensation of trying to 'catch a breath' through your very sad words. Excellent writing, so sad, penned with heart :-) blessings, lynn
