Sorrow

If my sorrow was a color I would imagine it as gray Not the black of nothingness But the shadows in my day

a picture of sorrow, personal sorrow, is hard to judge from the outside. Daily shadows can be haunting; I took a chance on Friday which came out to my favor, but there is that nagging "grayness" of what if... Good piece, it takes me to reflecting on my days.

Barbara, I almost wish I'd put this higher reading it again just now! It's a very nice little poem to evoke sadness. Congrats in my contest.
