for him
it was all about
the chase
the art
the seduction
the romance
the game
the conquest
the compulsion

soon enough
she’d have him
eating out of her hand
like a puppy

They chase women like it's some kind of 'high' that's always just out of reach.... and as you say, eventually end up all alone. This is brilliantly penned.
